DDA will host a recital at the end of the dance year,  normally end of May or beginning of June.  This is a chance to let the students display to their family and friends techniques they have learned in class.  Please keep this in mind when making vacation plans.  It is NOT required to participate in recital to attend monthly classes however; instructors need to be notified ASAP if your child will not be able to participate in the recital.

We take pride in all of our students and wants to present them during recital at their very best.  With that we do our best to choose high quality costumes that are age appropriate and that fit the child properly.  Sizing is based on the students measurements compared to the costume companies measurements.

A costume deposit of $40.00 per costume is due by October 20th and the balance is due no later than January 19th.  This timeframe is to ensure that we can receive all costumes from suppliers in time for recital.  No refunds will be given to costume deposits after December 1st.  Parents needing installment plans because of multiple students or costumes may pay in installments starting in September until costumes are paid in January.  Please check with front desk to arrange details.  Costumes will not be ordered for students who have not paid their costume deposits by due dates.

Recital fee of $45.00 per student or $60.00 per family is due by

March 9th.   Paid recital fees receive 3 complementary tickets to recital; multi-student families who pay $60.00 recital fee will receive 5 complementary tickets to recital.  A voucher will be issued when you pay the recital fee that will allow you to pick up your complementary tickets on our ticket sale date. Please note that there are a lot of costs that go into the production of the recital (i.e. venue, props, light crew, music techs, etc).  The recital fee helps offset these costs and allows us to put on a great show for the students and their family and friends.
